Let the dad jokes rain down, flaunt those socks and sandals, and fire up that barbecue because this Sunday we celebrate all of the incredible father figures in our lives.

Perhaps the Creston Valley Farmers’ Market hasn’t been on your radar as a place to score the perfect gift for dad on Father’s Day. Well lettuce help you find something he will absolutely love (dad joke #1)!

We are so excited to welcome Rindy Stalley from Time Flies to the market this Saturday! Rindy has been a fishing guide in the valley for a few years now and will be selling hand-tied flies for the first time at the market. This is a must see for any local fly-fishing enthusiasts and we are pretty sure dad will be hooked when he reels in his first fish with one of these little guys (dad joke #2)!

Maybe your dad isn’t so much of an outdoors enthusiast-Romaine calm (dad joke #3). The market is also a great place to grab all the fresh ingredients you will need to whip up a delicious barbecue for him! Check out Tarzwell Farms, Kootenay Natural Meats, or Root & Vine Acres for a wide selection of steak cuts, burgers, and sausages you can throw right onto the grill.

On behalf of the Creston Valley Farmers’ Market, Happy Father’s Day!
