September has come in with force. With the kids back to school, canning season well underway, not to mention a literal windstorm, it seems hard to catch your breath!

Give yourself a break and head down to the Creston Valley Farmers’ Market this Saturday from 9am-1pm behind the Visitor’s Centre. This week we invite you to stroll (at a safe distance, of course) through 27 unique vendor stalls brimming with freshly picked produce, locally raised meats, sweet honey, and handcrafted artisanal delights.

Keep your eye (or your nose!) out for Maggie’s Creations. This sweet lady will have plenty of mouthwatering treats and freshly baked goods for the kids’ lunches. Amy at JRD Farms will have lunch box apples and peaches, while Tom at Tarzwell farms maintains a fully stocked jerky selection. Across the way from Tom, you’ll spot the Spectrum Farms gang who can provide some crisp, dark green spinach to round things out. There – lunches packed!

We’ll have hand washing stations and sanitizer set up for you. Bring a mask if you are comfortable doing so.
