Swan Valley Honey, located at Honey Bee Zen Apiaries, is known for its sustainable beekeeping and a growing list of terroir-based niche honeys. We specialize in the careful production of honey from the apple and cherry fruit fields we pollinate in the rich Creston Valley agricultural belt, including local Kootenay Wildflower and Fireweed. Our golden and amber honeys have won awards, both provincially and on the North American stage. You can almost taste the sunshine that our bees have harnessed to produce such flavourful sweetness. We are committed to working with farmers who respect the land they use and the bees we provide, and we seek out strong and beneficial relationships. We are interested in the science and breeding of bees, the production of honey and hive products, and the challenges bees and their keepers around the world face. We are passionate about educating people on the importance of bees to food production.

Mama’s Dumplings offers authentic Northern Chinese style dumplings and other signature dishes. It is a small home-based business since 2014. It was founded by Coco Seitz who immigrated to Canada from Jilin China in 2009. With grandma and mom’s influence in culinary art, Coco saw the needs for authentic Chinese food in the community and started making these delicious pockets of joys to share with friends and family. From there she had expanded the business to have a mobile food truck that travels around the Kootenays and make them available in stores and restaurants. Come and find us at your local farmer’s market and special events.
